I am a legal and corporate translator specialising in Scandinavian languages and Dutch. I am a native Dutch speaker and have been living in Sweden since 2000, with extensive professional experience in both Scandinavian and Dutch-speaking contexts. I hold a law degree from the University of Utrecht and have also studied at the Free University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles), with a focus on international law. I have further complemented my background with language and professional training. Prior to becoming a full-time translator in 2013, I worked as a lawyer in both the public and private sectors in the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, primarily in the pharmaceutical and automotive industries. I also have experience teaching at university level in Sweden and the Netherlands. My main focus is legal, corporate and institutional translation between Scandinavian languages and Dutch, with strong expertise in contracts, compliance and specialised business communication.
