I hold a Degree of Master of Arts with Specialization in Non-­Fiction Translation in French­-Swedish from Linnaeus University in Sweden. I translate various types of texts from French into Swedish, my native language. The texts I translate cover a wide range of subjects such as advertising, marketing, environment/climate, the EU, travel/tourism, medical (general), technical instruction manuals (home electronics) and so forth. I offer proofreading and language reviews of Swedish texts as well. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Swedish and a Master's Degree in French from Stockholm University. Furthermore, I've studied French linguistics and French literature etc. for two years at the University of Strasbourg in France, and English (an intensive summer course at university in Cambridge), Tibetan (modern and classical) and Sanskrit at university level in Sweden and abroad. Altogether I've lived about 8 years in France. Throughout my professional career, I've been teaching Swedish and French at primary/secondary school, as well as Swedish as a foreign language to adults. However, from this year, I'm mainly working with translation! This means that I'm fully available for new projects. In 2002, I translated the book "La Terre vue du Ciel" ("Earth seen from Above/Jorden sedd från himlen") de Yann Arthus-Bertrand (I was the main translator). I'm an associated member of SFÖ, the Swedish Association of Professional Translators, and I'm registered for corporation tax (Swedish F-tax certification).
