I translate from Swedish, German and French into English and edit and proofread texts written in English. I specialise in legal, political, European Union and public authority texts, and human rights, children's rights and international law. Originally from Scotland, I studied law and German at university in the UK and Germany, specialising in public law, European Union law and human rights. I worked on EU matters in Brussels and Luxembourg for 13 years, including 7 years as an EU Official in the administration of the European Parliament. Prior to moving to Sweden in 2022, I worked on child law and policy at a law firm and charity in Edinburgh. I also worked in tourism and hospitality in France, Germany, Switzerland and Scotland.
