Language industry professional since 2016, starting out in project management before moving on to localization engineering, and freelance translator since July 2024. I have an interest in a wide range of subject areas, from technical and legal to video games and gym/fitness. Thanks to my previous roles I'm experienced in several different file formats and document types, from annual reports in Excel to technical manuals in XML. Apart from English I also translate from French, a language which was the focus of my bachelor's degree. I've also spent an exchange term in Poitiers, France, studying various law courses, and one of my master's theses consisted of an annotated translation of an EU regulation from French to Swedish.svenska.
