I am a freelance translator and language expert, running my own company, All the Best from Sweden. My connection to the languages I work with is deeply rooted in my personal journey: I grew up in Germany, lived in the Netherlands for 20 years, and now call Sweden my home. I hold a degree (Drs) in Scandinavian Languages and Translation from the University of Groningen (Netherlands), with academic training completed in Germany (Berlin) and the Netherlands. Since 1998, I have been working professionally in my fields of expertise. I was a sworn translator in the Netherlands but chose not to renew my certification after relocating to Sweden. Over the past 25+ years, I have supported both private clients (websites, magazines, PR materials, newsletters) and public authorities (legal and administrative texts for various institutions in Sweden and the Netherlands). With a passion for nature and sustainable living, I specialize in marketing translations, particularly for the sustainable Scandinavian tourism industry. As a native German speaker, I translate from Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, and English into German. In addition, I offer services in proofreading, copywriting, transcreation, and post-editing (provided that the text to post-edit is of good quality).
